BRITTANY BADIA | Executive Director

Brittany Badia is a seasoned dance instructor and award winning choreographer, with over 15 years of experience in teaching students across a wide range of dance styles and levels, both nationally and internationally. Brittany began her training at the age of 6, advancing to her studio’s performance and competitive team within a few years. At 15, Brittany chose to focus exclusively on ballet. She spent the next 3 years under the tutelage of Charles Hagan and Natalia Botha at Pas De Vie Ballet School, where she flourished and performed several seasons in their company, Pas De Vie Ballet. At 17, Brittany was accepted into Florida State University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts Dance Program.
During her years there, Brittany was a dancer in high demand, landing leading roles in many pieces choreographed by her professors and professional guest artists. In addition, she completed and excelled in all of her coursework, including dance pedagogy and composition, achieving the highest level of proficiency in ballet and contemporary technique by her junior year. Following college, Brittany focused on professional dance instruction, teaching many years for Energy Source Dance Association’s summer intensives across the United States. When her family moved to Germany, Brittany developed and directed a dance program for children of military families under the Army’s Child and Youth Services SKIES Unlimited Program. Upon returning to the US, Brittany taught for Hannah Bergstrom School of Dance, Pas De Vie Ballet, the Tallahassee Senior Center, and Foundation 4 Arts.

Brittany offers a distinct teaching philosophy and choreographic style that she has shared with hundreds of children around the world. It is her goal to encourage, emphasize, and expand upon each of her students’ unique talents and abilities, while providing an environment safe and supportive of exploration and development.
